Fever

The short film Fever depicts a world in which all hope seems lost. It tells the story of a total of three distinct characters trying to cope with their helplessness in the face of the end.

The setting for this dystopian tale is a city trapped in what sppears to be a black void. Only the remaining fluorescent light allows a glimpse at what has no desire to be seen at all. People live in complete isolation from one another. They hurry, stagnate, suffer, resign. The numbing stench of exhaust fumes, smoke and alcohol lingers in the air. An approaching dawn that might rid the world of this sinking feeling seems entirely out of reach.

Fever is a cynical snapshot of trying times and was my way of dealing with the loss of a loved one. The film is designed to be a time capsule that will one day allow myself to revisit these emotions and show me how far I have come.
